We're practicing lying down these days. Normally, he's only happy if he's eating, sleeping, or being rocked/swaddled/sung to/patted all at once! But every day he gets a little bit better at just relaxing. When we took this video, he actually lay there for about 20 minutes! And yesterday he spent 25 minutes in the swing--just enough time for Mommy to paint her toes.
Hopefully someday I'll be able to persuade him to give up the nightlife...!
What a sweet boy and oh so cute! It's amazing how everything changes, huh? No more sleeping in..rushed showers...no more "me" time...but I'm sure you've already realized it's oh so worth it! Enjoy him.
ReplyDeleteWell that's pretty good that you managed to get your toes painted! Any "me" time you can get is pretty priceless at this point. Have I mentioned he is so precious?? I just love this baby.

ReplyDeleteGood luck with the away from mom time.. when you figure it out please let me know. Mine thinks he pretty much should still be attatched to me 24/7. And lets me know when I am letting him down. I guess we should enjoy the fact that they love to be with us so much. He is adorable...congrats again.
