Not a newborn for much longer...

Wasn't Conference wonderful? I think my favorite talk was Elder Anderson's talk on not knowing everything but knowing enough. I love this time of year. It hardly feels like fall yet in California; October seems more like an extension of summer. But this afternoon after Conference we drove out to the coast, and we passed gorgeous pumpkin patches tucked away in a valley. It finally felt like fall!

At our doctor's appointment on Friday, we found out Trenton weighs 12 pounds now, putting him in the 80th percentile for weight. He's getting chubby! He's starting to burst out of his newborn onesies, which actually makes me a little sad! But I'm excited to see the changes in him, like the double chin he's developing and the more frequent smiles he's rewarding us with.

Trenton was a trooper today for our little photo shoot! (Sorry I'm in so many of them!) Enjoy!

I love this last one. He looks like an upsidedown Superman.

And his expression in this one--Ah! I love this kid!

  1. These pictures are beautiful! The first time I had to put Olivia's clothes away bc they were too small was so sad! Way to go Trenton on being in the 80th percentile, WOW! Olivia has never been above the 30th...

  3. The one with you and him overlooking the water is SO GORGEOUS! I've heard that most babies grow out of their newborn-sized clothes pretty quick, so don't worry!

  4. Chubby cheeks, legs, and arms are great! Just so much more to cuddle.

Now come the storage problem we all face, where to put the clothes they no longer fit? We have bins and bins of clothes stacked in our storage room.

Your pictures are great. I miss the ocean!

  17. Those pictures are awesome! They are so cute! I'm glad you were in them too! You look great! I'm so jealous that you won't have to deal with snow. I think of that word as a four letter word. We're not aloud to talk about it! :)

  19. I was just looking at your blog, Madilyn came in, saw the pics and started shouting "It's Trenton! It's Trenton!" I clicked on a picture, cooed and said "He's so little." And she quite sternly corrected me. "He's BIG!" Baby knows best!
