Andrew is liking the Avent ones. I've also used the Nuby and Munckin silicon topped ones. Those are nice. But he does best with Avent. From what I hear - you just have to sample them with your kiddo to see what he likes. Good Luck!
I also like the Avent sippy cups, mostly because of the soft spout that she can chew on. They're also lots thinner on the spout so they can get their mouth around them better.
Olivia loved her Nuby soft spout sippy cup. I was worried initially that the soft spout was too much like a bottle and that she'd have a hard time transitioning to a hard spout eventually, but she went to the hard spout with no trouble at all around 1. The soft spout is definitely the easiest for those little guys.
Ben really likes the Munchkin ones. He has a hard spout one and also, we got one with a straw that's his favorite. I'm glad he finally started drinking from a cup!
Madeline uses two kinds - Avent and Nuby. Avent is a little hard to sip out of. Nuby seems to be the best because the spout is so soft. It comes with handles and without. It was probably the easiest for her to use when she was Trenton's age. So my vote would probably be Nuby! :) http://www.thesoftlanding.com/nu10twohasic.html
You are welcome to borrow all our different kinds of sippy cups and see which one Trenton likes best. I think I have 4 different kinds. I'll bring them to church tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI like the cheap-o "disposable" First Year cups that are made out of light plastic. No valve to mess with, easy to suck, super affordable.
