Dear Mom, do you want to come back? :)

Um, Mom, now I miss you even more. It's 4:30am and I have not gotten more than 15 minutes of consecutive sleep yet. Chase is determined tonight! How is a girl supposed to care for an 18-month-old and a 1-week-old on ZERO sleep?

Sorry to vent, but I actually feel a teeny bit better now. Right now I'm going to go lay my sleeping little one down and pray that he stays asleep for more than 10 minutes out of my arms. Bye!

  1. oh man. sad for you. I hate it when my mom leaves after kids :( I got to keep her for two weeks because of my c-section...nice excuse at least ;) Hope the "balance" comes soon. Hang in there- it gets easier!

  4. I'm so sorry! You must be absolutely exhausted. Hopefully this weekend Ryan can give you a hand while Chase's schedule gets settled.

  5. Oh Erica! Do you want me to come and get Trenton? Sophee has a teeny sore throat and a little bit of a runny nose - but she's starting to get better. Let me know if you want to risk it!!!

  7. Yikes, sorry! You may just have to let Chase get some "exercise" crying to sleep...after you've done all you can. I took baby pictures to school today and put them on my document camera and displayed them with my projector for a couple hours! Such a sweet family you have! Better sleep tonight! ...Crossing my fingers!

  8. :( Just remember that hardships just make you stronger in the long run. I wish I could help! Only TWO weeks until I get to give little Chase a squeeze and you a little relief. Yippee!
