I always wanted to be a mom. I spent most of my youth wondering who I would marry and what our children would look like. Lately, when I'm out and about with the boys, the thought dawns on me, "Wasn't I just barely 15 years old? How am I suddenly pushing a double stroller everywhere I go??" Seriously, how did that happen??
Goodness, it goes fast! The ten years between ages 15 and 25 flew by. I can only imagine how the next 10 years will go—which is exactly why I need to soak it all in and enjoy the special moments while our children are small. That's what I'm working on now.
The boys in their first (of many) matching outfits, compliments of my mother.
I feel the same all the time! When did we grow up? You and your boys are darling!
ReplyDeleteThere is something about the teenage years that really stick with you. Sometimes, it shocks me when I realize that being 16 was half my life ago! And I almost have my own teenager?! Crazy. You're right - soak it up and enjoy every second cuz the next 10 years'll probably go even faster! I love the picture of the 3 of u!
ReplyDeleteIt is crazy to think how different life is now compared to life in high school! You are a very cute mom of two :)
ReplyDeleteOh the matching outfits. haha. Erica you have such a cute little family. I can't wait to meet new little baby Chase.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way with only one! How did this happen?? Especially since I have so many non-married non-parent friends. I still feel like I'm 18!!
ReplyDeleteTime passes so quickly, I have a love/hate relationship with it. The older I get, the more I lean toward hate, though. :)
You make me want to have a baby! I want to be a Mom like you! You're just so cute with those two adorable boys, and I'm officially requesting a picture of you pushing your double stroller, please.
ReplyDeleteI feel the very same way!! You are such a super mom, Erica!!
