Dreaming of a White Christmas

We're having a fantastic time in Utah. It was exactly what we all needed. Playing in fresh snow this morning with bright-eyed Tretnon was magical. I love seeing the world through a toddler's eyes. He did great for about 40 minutes, until all at once the cold caught up with him and he was ready to, in his words, "go home!"

I hope I always remember the sound of Trenton's little voice yelling, "I got the carrot, Dad!" as he trudged toward our snowman with that little cooked carrot in hand.

  3. Yeah...Trenton's face in that last picture is how I feel about 10 minutes after being in the snow. I'm glad you're here!

  5. Before I scrolled down to read that you were in Utah, I was like, "Wow! They get snow where they live?!" I was no longer sold on your sunny California!

  6. Ben loves it too. We built a snowman the other day and Ben was so excited about "Frosty." Where in Utah are you? We are visiting Dennis parents near Spanish Fork and have been getting snow all day. It's probably about as tall as Ben is now. We're about to go play out there on the sled. Enjoy your vacation!
