Last weekend we spent a day in Santa Cruz with our good friends Meg and Cody. On the drive down there, Cody and Meg were so sweet to keep Trenton entertained in the backseat!
Our last trip to Santa Cruz was two summers ago, which I cannot believe. Cody was with us that time, but since then, he's gotten himself a wife and we've gotten ourselves a baby! Go us.
Anyway, this is how Trenton felt about the beach.
Something about the squishy sand in his toes...Oh wait, maybe it was the fact that his daddy stuck his feet in the freezing water! Guess he's a bit more of a Williams than I thought. (I hate cold water, a trait I inherited from my dad. :) Guess Ryan will have to wait a few more years before he gets his kite boarding companion.
Way more interested in the boardwalk than smiling for the camera...
I'm so excited for summer!!!
Hey! I've been to that beach before! I think once on a band tour or something (I'm so cool).
ReplyDeletePoor little Trenton! Maybe he'll grow into the beach. :) Looks like fun!
Oh yay! You guys are cute! And DON'T WORRY about the blue walls! Ha ha! I tend to dramatize when I blog.
ReplyDeleteI can't beleive Little T is crawling already! You are going to be busy now keeping up with Mr. Explorer.
ReplyDeleteThat cold water hate must run in the family. He needs warm SOCAL beaches...by Disneyland perhaps!?
Wow, looks like fun! Except poor Baby T... getting tortured by his own father!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous that you get to experience the beach! As always, you have such a stinkin' cute family!! Love and miss you guys!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Happy Birthday wishes!
ReplyDeleteIt is blurb.com if you finish before I do let me know how it turns out! I'm excited to see the finished product. I thought it would be fun to have a book with my first year of marriage etc together.
